BMW Subsidiaries in North Rhine-Westphalia

The German car manufacturer, BMW, has a total of five subsidiaries in North Rhine-Westphalia – in Düsseldorf, Essen, Dortmund and Bonn. These subsidiaries sell all the BMW range – including the BMW, BMW i, BMW M, MINI and BMW Motorcycle brands – and stock brand new, nearly new and used cars.

Their passion? Motorsport. Their mission? Fun behind the wheel. Their drive? Perfection. All this while never losing sight of one goal: creating legendary cars. This is BMW M. M, the strongest letter in the world, needs a strong event to match – the BMW M after-work experience! Forty customers and their guests were invited to a sporting event after work – a motorsporting event. The Hugo Junkers Hangar in Mönchengladbach let participants bring their BMW M up to speeds that can only ever be dreamt of on the motorway. The event consisted of three different driving modules, allowing participants to enjoy a brand new and exciting driving experience in their own BMW M.

The perfect venue for an unforgettable experience. The driver training took place in the extraordinary setting of Hugo Junkers Hangar. A giant barbecue was organised for all the guests to break the initial ice and allow them to mingle. The tour of the original Ju-52 just before the sun went down was another fascinating highlight.

As twilight fell, the terrain surrounding the hangar became a driver’s playing field. Floodlights, wet tarmac...and engines started to rev on the runway of Mönchengladbach Airport. The BMW M after-work experience was a thrilling, fast-paced event that none of the drivers or passengers will ever forget.
